Wir sind mit dem Fahrrad in die Nachbarpräfektur (Kagoshima) gefahren und haben da diese große Statur angeschaut. Ich weiß wirklich nicht mehr wie die Stadt heißt oder auch wer die Statur ist... Sorry ^ ^"

Hier einfach mal ein paar Bilder aus Kagoshima, wo wir im September waren. Wir besuchten dort einen Zoo (wo ich keine Bilder gemacht habe, da es halt einfach ein normaler Zoo war) und ein Aquarium, welches an der Küste war, wo die Bilder entstanden.

Hallöchen!

Ich wollte jetzt einfach mal ein kurzes Update schreiben, da ich schon lange nichts mehr über meinen Alltag geschrieben habe... Entschuldigung dafür erstmal, japanische Schule ist einfach zu anstrengend und lang. :x 
Es sind jedenfalls ein paar Dinge geschehen und einiges möchte ich jetzt einfach mit euch teilen.

Ich fange einfach mal mit dem Club an: Ein paar Einträge früher hatte ich euch ja erzählt, dass ich dem Badminton-Club beitreten möchte. Daraus ist allerdings dann doch nichts geworden, da ich mich für einen anderen Club entschieden habe. Meine Klassenlehrerin schlug mir nämlich vor, dass ich einmal zum Training vom Kyudo-Club gehen kann, weil dies ja eine traditionell japanische Sportart ist. Also bin ich da vor einigen Wochen das erste Mal zum Training gegangen und es hat super viel Spaß gemacht! Kyudo ist übrigens das japanische Bogenschießen. Die Unterschiede zu unserem Bogenschießen in Deutschland sind groß und auf jeden Fall zahlreich vorhanden. Es fängt ja eigentlich schon beim Bogen an, da diese beim Kyudo asymmetrisch geformt sind und über zwei Meter hoch sind (was relativ unpraktisch ist, muss ich zugeben :D).
Natürlich kann man nach einem Training noch nicht viel machen, da die Technik bei Kyudo das eigentlich entscheidende ist. Und diese Technik ist schwer zu erlernen, da sie sehr komplex ist und man vieles beachten muss (es gibt so viele Kleinigkeiten, die ich gerne falsch mache). 
Jedenfalls bin ich die letzten Wochen fast täglich zum Training gegangen und gestern durfte ich dann auch das erste Mal richtig mit Pfeil und Bogen schießen, was irgendwie schon cool war, aber auch ein wenig gruselig. :D 
Training ist jeden Tag, außer Sonntag, von 17:30 Uhr bis 19 Uhr. Ich habe nur jeden zweiten Samstag Training (alle anderen jeden Samstag), und zwar von 8:30 Uhr bis 12 Uhr. Es macht auf jeden Fall super viel Spaß und die Leute dort sind einfach total nett und lieb. Immerhin können meine "Lehrer" wegen mir weniger trainieren und sie sagen, dass es kein Problem für sie ist und dass sie sich freuen, wenn ich zum Training komme (ich habe nämlich immer so vier bis fünf Leute, die mir alles zeigen und erklären). ^ ^

Ab nächste Woche Dienstag sind auch wieder Tests (ich habe das Gefühl, dass die hier die ganze Zeit Tests schreiben ^ ^"), deswegen kann ich schon um 12 Uhr nach Hause gehen. Leider ist in dieser Zeit auch kein Club, am Samstag war das letzte Training vor den Tests... 
Und die Leute lernen einfach nur noch und damit auch in allen möglichen Pausen... ~.~

Morgen (23.11.) ist der "Tag des Dankes für die Arbeit" also haben alle frei! Meine Gastmutter meinte, dass wir zu einer Teezeremonie gehen werden, da bin ich mal gespannt drauf. :) In Japan gibt es übrigens fühnzehn gesetzliche Feiertage im Jahr, the more you know... :D

Am 8.12. werden meine Klasse und ich nach Miyazaki fahren, um eine Universität dort zu besuchen. Da an dieser Uni sehr viele ausländische Professoren arbeiten, werden wir den ganzen Tag Unterricht auf Englisch haben. Die Universität heißt übrigens "Miyazaki International College" auf English und auf Japanisch 宮崎国際大学 und ist eine Privatschule. Darauf freue ich mich schon, da ich dann auch mal eine japanische Uni besuchen kann (und dort Unterricht habe).

Ich glaube, ich habe es hier auf dem Blog noch nicht erwähnt, aber meine Klassenfahrt wird doch nicht nach Tokyo gehen, sondern in die USA, genauer gesagt nach Los Angeles! Los geht es am 8.01. und zurück kommen wir am 13.01.2016. Dort werden wir jedenfalls bei Gastfamilien wohnen, worauf ich mich schon super freue! :D Da wir die meiste Zeit mit den Gastfamilien verbringen, haben wir kein wirkliches Programm bekommen, weil dies ja  von Schüler zu Schüler unterschiedlich sein wird. Aber am letzten Tag werden wir eine amerikanische High School besuchen! ^o^

Auch meine Schuluniform hat sich um ein Teil erweitert, nämlich um den Pullover den wir unter den Blazer anziehen können, wenn es zu kalt wird. Da es für mich noch in keinster Weise zu kalt ist, habe ich ihn noch nie angezogen und deshalb habe ich auch noch kein Foto. Ich habe sogar meinen Blazer erst zweimal zur Schule angezogen, weil es einfach noch viel zu warm dafür ist... Die meisten anderen Schüler sehen das allerdings nicht ganz so und haben schon lange den Blazer an. ^ ^" Der Pullover ist wriklich nichts besonderes, er ist einfach nur dunkelblau mit einem rotem "N", für Nishi, also West, an der Seite...

Mein Deutsch wird auch immer schlechter, also entschuldige ich mich für alle Rechtschreib-und Grammatikfehler in allen künftigen Posts! Besonders gern verwechsle ich "dem" und "den" und solche Sachen... ^ ^"

Das war es dann erstmal von dem -wirklich sehr unwichtigem- Update... 
Ein paar richtige Posts sind schon in Arbeit, die kommen auch in nächster Zeit.

Farewell, Arrival and the first days

Hey guys! :D

The first day in Japan is ending and I'm so tired.
In the morning I had to say Goodbye to my parents and my sister at the airport in Frankfurt, of course everybody was crying (it was so sad ;_;)... About one o' clock in the afternoon the boarding started and we could finally enter the airplane, which brought us to Japan. Of course we were the loudest people at the whole airport, but everybody was too excited to be quiet. ^ ^" But we had a lot of fun and the sadness about leaving Germany was gone. After about 11 exhausting hours (I didn't sleep at all ._.) in the plane we finally arrived at about 8 o' clock in the morning in Tokyo Narita. After passing the entry check we got our Aliencards, which is basically an ID for foreigners here in Japan. Because some of us had to wait really long to get their  ID cards we stayed a long time near the baggage carousel and picked up all suitcases from our fellow AFS students. We also met a AFS student from Portugal at our way to the entry check, apparently she was with us in the same plane and we didn't notice. After we all went through the entry check and through costums we finally met the Japanese AFS volunteers. Before we could go to the youth hostel (the "National Olympics Memorial Youth Center") we had to wait for some other exchange students (we waited for five hours ;_;). But it was still super fun with all the exchange students and -again- we were the loudest group there. :D About 2:30 in the afternoon we could finally get in the bus to the youth hostel. Everbody wanted to look out of the windows, but almost all of us fell asleep immediately. Once we arrived at the youth hostel it was already 4 in the afternoon. Plenty of us were tired and it was too hot and humid for any movement. Anyway we ate dinner together in the evening (meat, nuts and onions with sauce, salad and rice) and it was really good for youth hostel food. :D After dinner we had the first meeting, which was called "Japanese Culture", we danced, folded Origami and tried to wear Yukata (I still think this was something to keep us awake :D). After this we went to the Ofuro and took a bath and some of us waited for the other exchange students (for example from the US or the Netherlands) which arrived about 11 o' clock (I think... I was sleeping :D).

The second day is also over and tomorrow we will meet our host families! I'm totally not ready for this... But I think I would never be ready for this. ^ ^" I'm more worried about the fact that I have to go to school on monday, without a break. Anyway today we had to wake up at 7 o' clock (I really really hate waking up this early x.x)... After the breakfast we had some meetings. First there was an Opening ceremony with some speeches from AFS volunteers. After the ceremony we got some information about Japan and the mobile phone, AFS will give us. After lunch there were a few meetings (about our host families and Japanese culture and stuff) and we got some information about our departure from Tokyo tomorrow. After dinner there was a talent show and the ending ceremony. Some AFS volunteers gave a speech and we sang a song together (I think it was an AFS song or something ^ ^").

Today we also had to wake up at 7 and clean up our room. :x After breakfast we had some time left so we just talked a bit. ^ ^ Soon we had to say Goodbye to the other people, who wouldn't come to Haneda Airport with us. After we arrived in Haneda I also had to say Goodbye to the other people and me and another girl from the Netherlands went to our gate. About 12 o' clock we could enter the airplane and about 1:45 in the afternoon we arrived in Miyazaki. Our host families picked us up at the airport... I was already super nervous at the plane and when we arrived at the airport I was almost dead. ^ ^"
But my host family is -of course- super nice and friendly, but the communication is still super hard. ^ ^"
My host mother, my host brother and my host sister welcomed me at the airport and we went to a shrine near the sea. The sea and the shrine were so beautiful! *-* When we arrived at home I met my host father, everybody is super nice here! The parents from my host mother are living in the house next to us, so we visited them too. After this we just ate dinner and then I went to bed, because I was super tired... It's very hot and humid here, today were about 38°C at the sea and my room is super hot... But I have a fan, so it's okay! :D

Gastfamilie!

こんにちは

Hallo zurück liebe Leute!
Ich habe tolle Neuigkeiten! Und zwar habe ich vor einigen Tagen Informationen über meine Gastfamilie und meine Schule bekommen!

Ich werde nach Miyakonojō-shi, auf Kyūshū kommen! Die Stadt hat ungefähr 165.000 Einwohner und ist damit dreimal so groß, wie meine Heimatstadt… Ich habe Angst mich zu verlaufen. :D

Meine Familie besteht aus meinem Gastvater, meiner Gastmutter, einer Gastschwester (11 Jahre) und einem Gastbruder (15 Jahre alt). Haustiere haben sie (leider) nicht, dafür habe ich aber ein eignes Zimmer, was ich definitiv gut finde. :3

Selbstverständlich bleiben die Details über meine Gastfamilie, also Namen, Bilder etc. geheim, einfach um ihre Privatsphäre nicht zu verletzten.

Eine Schule habe ich auch schon, die (laut Google Maps) nur circa 15 Minuten zu Fuß von meinem neuen Zuhause entfernt ist. Das finde ich auf jeden Fall super, da ich so weder Rad fahren muss (wovor ich in Japan wirklich Angst habe), noch muss ich Geld für öffentliche Verkehrsmittel zahlen.

Es ist jedenfalls eine ganz normale High School und keine römisch-katholische-Mädchenschule. ;D

Es sind 683 Schüler auf der Schule, 321 Jungen und 362 Mädchen. Wenn ich dort ankomme sind die Sommerferien gerade vorbei, also muss ich wahrscheinlich sofort in die Schule gehen…

Winterferien sind jedenfalls vom 23. Dezember bis zum 6. Januar und Frühlingsferien vom 24. März bis 7. April.

Ich habe auch schon eine Liste mit den möglichen Clubs, bin mir aber noch nicht sicher, welche ich belegen werde (auch wenn ich sicher bin, dass ich in den Englisch-Club muss :D).

Eine Klassenfahrt machen wir auch und zwar geht es nach Tokyo, unteranderem ins Disneyland (was mich wirklich sehr freut :D)!

Es sieht auch so aus, als ob die Schule noch einen anderen Austauschschüler aufnimmt, dazu habe ich aber noch keine weiteren Informationen.

Meine Gastfamilie meinte, dass es Ende Juni ein Treffen von der Schule gibt, wo sie mehr Informationen bekommen werden (worauf ich wirklich sehr gespannt bin :D).  



Hier noch mal die Präfektur Miyazaki, in der Miyakonojō liegt.

Host family!

Hello guys!

I have great news to share with you! I got some information about my host family and my host school a couple days ago. 
I will live in Miyakonojō-shi, on Kyūshū! The city has about 165.000 inhabitants so it's about three times bigger than my hometown. I think I will get lost a lot... :D
I have a host mother, a host father, a host sister (11 years) and a host brother (15 years). Unfortunately they don't have any pets, but I have an own room (I'm so happy about this)!
Obviously I won't share any pictures or further information about my host family with you all, because I want to respect their privacy.
I also have a host school, which is (according to Google Maps) only about 15 minutes by foot away from my new home. I'm pretty happy about this because so I don't have to ride a bike to school (I'm a bit scared about using a bike in Japan), nor I have to pay for public transport.
My school is a normal public high school, with 683 pupils, 321 boys and 362 girls. When I arrive there the summer vacation is already over, so I will start school right when I arrive.
My winter vacation is from December 23rd to January 6th and my spring vacation is from March 24th to April 7th.
I already have a list with all the school clubs, but I'm not sure which I will choose (but I'm sure I have to do the English-Club :D).
We will also make a class trip to Tokyo and we will visit Disneyland! *cheer* I'm looking forward to this trip! :3
It seems like my school will also host another exchange student but I don't have any information about this yet...
But my host family told me that there is a meeting with my host school in the end of June, so they will get more information! I'm really excited to find out more about my host school. :D
